am from maine originaly,in my younger years I was freinds with a trapper from medford maine,he trapped in the Indian pond to sebec lake area.he told me of a track that once went from the b&a line to a small settlement at caribou bog,called rays mill,I later found the old line and walked it through the woods to fish that area,at that time you could still feel the old ties under the moss and if not carefull stub your foot on an old spke occasionly,there were bits and pieces all the length of the old road bed,I beleive this little railroad carried wagon hubs that were made at rays mill to the larger guage of the b&a,this would be close to the area where caribou stream crosses the b&a tracks,havent been there for many years.is there someone out there with any knowlegde of this small r.r.
