As far as class lights go, Locomotives carried Green and White. White for extra movements and Green for "Second Section Following".
The Markers were red. Locomotives carried rear end markers as well. The definition of a Train back then was "Locomotive, with or without cars, displaying Signals"
Just like the definition of a Conductor was "Brakeman, with or without brains, displaying pencils."
