Derrell,
I had the pleasure of visiting the WW&F there last summer while I was running a Maine DOT rail project in nearby Rockland. Got to know Alan Fisher, James Patten (who I believe was engineer that day) and got to ride in the cab of their steamer on one of the hottest days of the month of July that year. Had a blast.
They have a very impressive operation that only promises to get bigger and better as each season passes. There track is very neat and very clean with no vegetation in the ballast section. I believe they are tending to the rest of the ROW to keep trees and brush from encroaching. When the intially clear a section of ROW, they clear the ENTIRE ROW from one side to the other down to the ground, clean!
