C&S No. 9 today

July 19, 2006 03:50PM
Rode behind 9 today, she looked and performed great! (Unfortunately she was doubleheaded with the diesel for the completely filled 8-car train. I should have gone up yesterday when I heard she was running solo with 5 cars).
No offense, but the #9 drawing appears to have incorrect driver spacing. After the rebuilds in the early 1900's, I believe that she measured 60" between both front and rear sets of drivers from the center set.
