yes, that's right. To be correct, I should have said that the whistle is from a standard-gauge C&S engine, or CB&Q as the parent road. Oh my gosh does that whistle sound beautiful in that valley! Loud, deep and prounounced. I was able to make a very dramatic whistle echo, raising and lowering the pitch, and letting the whistle sing at the very top of its range, with ~175 pounds of steam going through it. That was one of those thrills on the railroad I will never forget!
