I just took a quick look at J. Thodes book "A Century Of Passenger Trains on the DRG RY."
He explains that the Panoramic (#7, #8) was an all Pullman train from Denver to Ogden. It started in the Summer of 1924 and was run during the summer months only. Again it was an all Pullman Train and the consist included an Open Platform Sleeping car, Drawing Room/Compartment Sleeping Car and Diner. By all accounts it was a strictly "High Class" train. The book also explains that by 1930, the Panoramic was cut back to Salt Lake City and a coach was added between Denver and Pueblo. The last run was on September 6, 1931. I can only guess that pass holders were not welcome on 7 & 8 because it was a first class train. I don't know why a pass holder could have not ridden the coach between Denver and Pueblo in 1931 though?
