S.V.Ry #101(AKA D&RGW#50),Had a full size coupler that could be lifted and slid over to couple to standard or narrow gauge cars.
On the Sumpter Valley it switched standard gauge car at the interchange yard in Baker City as well as narrow gauge cars at the mills.
the couplers were raised by an air cylinder mounted to the deck on each end.
