Erik: don't understand your comment "Gauge 1 is scale 1:32" unless you are referring to a NMRA standard or some other standard. As noted by others herein, "gauge 1" track is 45mm and the track is used by several "scales", e.g. 1:32 (U.S. Standard Gauge), 1:29 (U.S. Std Gauge models of Aristo-Craft and USA Trains & maybe some LGB?), 1:24 (Some Hartland and the Aristo C-16, etc., 1:22.5 (European meter NG [used a lot by LGB])., 1:20.3 (U.S. 3ft NG modeled by Bachmann, Accucraft, etc.), 1:13 (U.S. 2ft NG). Many RR hobby folk refer to the above "Scales" using "Gauge 1" track as "Large Scale" others refer to it as "G Scale" or "F Scale" (1:20.3 NG using Gauge 1 track). I hope the above is fairly accurate.
