LGB track is 45mm, and known as gauge 1. LGB models started out representing meter gauge Euro railroads, so that scales out to 1/22.5. If 45mm track is used to represent 3ft NG, the correct scale is 1/20.3. If used for US standard gauge, the correct scale models would be 1/32 scale. Many other scales are used with 45mm track, representing a variety of 2ft, 60cm, 42", etc. gauges. Gary
