Re: Midwest central loco question?

The #1 is a CyZ Baldwin locomotive blt 1897. It arrived in Mt. Pleasant pretty well disasembled and unfortunately not a whole lot has been done with it. We believe the running gear to be decent but it will require heavy boiler work. If time allows I would like to do a full evaluation on the locomotive this year, then we can hopfuly either start on a operational restoration or cosmetic. It is stored indoors.
The NB&W #2 is currently in the shop. Frame reasembly started this month. The cylinders have been bored and the saddle is nearly ready to return to the frame. This is a hudge project, there is not much on the locomotive that isn't broken or worn out.
