In the late 30s, the D&RGW ran ski trains on Marhsall Pass. The left a couple of old coaches on the siding here for the skiers to warm themselves. One weekend, they use K28 number 472 to haul these two coaches from Tank 7 to the summit as kind of a ski lift. There were not as many tress there as in the 60s and now.
