I actually think that the color isn't so bad but that the lettering in silver on the red gets washed out and that the silver top with red sides just looks unfinished! All that would be needed to fix this would be for the sill underneath the roof to be black like on the D&RGW's Aspen Gold scheme! You wouldn't even need the black striping under the windows (although that wouldn't look bad!) The lettering would stand out and the cars would look "finished". Take it for what it's worth but you are already using a non-historical paint scheme so you might as well get the biggest bang for your buck!
