I know I will get slammed for this post, however, to all the negative folks out there....I would think everyone would just be pleased that the old girl has been brought back to life. I am certain that getting the right tender behind and the right lettering, etc. will all be taken care of in time...I think at least some praise should go to CHS for making the effort to bring the engine back on line...for those out there that know how much this type of thing costs....then maybe a little slack should be cut CHS...no matter what you think of the politics...at least THEY and no other are bringing to the public a real live C&S engine on line this year. I think it is safe to say that CHS is not "intentionally" trying to spin history...they are simply trying to get the engine on line, bring in revenue with it, so that more funds can be spent on tweeking. I am certain that the intent by CHS is to end up with a historically acurate repesentaton of the No.9....which may take a little time....but until then I hope all of you will just enjoy the fact that the engine is running again.
