Yes at one point the C&TS sold of some cars. I don't know all the details but most of the stock cars sold off went to the Camp Ground (Rio Chama Camp Ground just north of the Chama yard. The Camp Ground also got some box cars.
I don't know what all was sold off but it is quite possible that the 5574 ended up in OK due to this sell off.
I sure someone with more details will chime in
