Railfest is not going to have the Eureka or the RGS Goose No.1 this year. But the Silver Vista should be ready and with some luck the # 315 will be under steam. Rather than a vestibule coach an open platform wood car would be more appropriate for the mixed that is scheduled for the 24th. If it is too much $ to repaint one coach into Pullman green what about an alternative...truck the #284 from Golden on Monday the 21st after the CRRM steam up on the 19/20th. Then no paint required just a once over by the D&S crews and presto change-o the #315 could be pulling a circa 1940's train on Thursday afternoon...
