Since this thread has been expanded to non-Colorado, I've got something to add. In the late 90's while waiting on a train at a crossing of the CSX in Hamilton, Ohio, I observed a number of new narrow gauge hoppers going by on standard gauge flats. My assumtion at the time (and still is) that they were on there way to Plaster City. I really wish I had a camera with me!
