I beleive four motors. Strapac in Southern Pacific Diesel Locomotive Compendium lists the unit as being a B-B.
vitals of the #1:
50 ton
B-B
450 HP
c/n 32266
shipped 9/23/54
Catapillar #D-397 diesel with 5x8 cylinders
GE GT-583 generator
bought for $75,000
sold for $89,393.39 via Pan-American Engineering Co to Minera de Cananea.
GE sold similar units to IRCA in 1956 #700-706 with c/n32647-653.
