When the order was written, there was no westbound extra train to address, but it left the railroad open in case one developed that could make it to Osier by two o-clock. It also gave the the track department time to run or work without flaging for that train.
How many minutes was a freight train required to clear-by for a superior train? How many minutes were trains to clear in advance of a 1st class train? What date rule book gave what minutes?
