Nice touch. Will have to go east for more of these specials. Although the comment about it raining the first morning reminded me of my last attempt (WMS).
Might be fun to recreate the whole paper trail.....dispatchers sheets, clearances, trainorders, wheel reports, time sheets, and probably a few forms that I've forgotten. Lotsa paper. An an interesting part of history, along with the telegraph, phone, and teletype....all the paraphanalia that was essential to railroading before computers and the radio.
I wonder how many wheel reports were filled in so neatly and so complete!!!!
