I don't think #19 is ready to scrap yet, but I do think that Bart did abuse it at least some of the time. I cranked it in July while George Greenbaum sprayed starting fluid into the air intakes, and when that thing began to start, well, I won't forget how those motors shook that old relic. It was quite pleasing to have it run after all the work we did on it. I'm told that they fixed the run away problem with #1 prime mover, I don't know about the charging problem, but I think it's worth putting rebuilt traction motors in again. It's just been a long hard road making it go.
