Re: Sumpter snow

A couple winters ago there was less snow, but a still a large impassible berm had been pushed up by the city. One of my fellow members who shall remain unnamed in his "orange Gregmobile" attempted to ram through it. It was most amusing at least to start with. He went about halfway through and was completly high centered. You couldn't get to either side of the truck to shovel out underneath as he had the berms up against both sides where he partially broke through. I guess we dug for about an hour before attempting to pull him out with my chained up 4x4. I "bucked slack" quite a number of times wondering which would give first, my tow hook, his bumper or the chain. I think we gave up once and dug some more before finally pulling him out. Snow is sooo much fun!
