Years ago, during a bad winter, Buffalo, NY, loaded Conrail gons with snow which were sent south to melt. No joke.
Maybe you could contact the mayor and see if they have any extra this year. Next, get a special organized to Antonito. Transload to the NG and drop it off at Cumbres.
