Jim,
I too look forward to your reports. I’ve been watching which engines are pulling the San Juan. Lately (1932) it’s been 475 and 479. A few months prior it was 475 and 477.
Do you have any information on the San Juan for the time period of ’39-’41? I checked the CRA #24 and found pictures of the San Juan with 470 (2), 472 (1) and 473 (3) in that time frame. It’s possible that these were the engines regularly assigned to the San Juan, but it would be nice to have more information.
