Re: Poor's South Park, and Switzerland Trail

Grant,
Haven't looked for Poor's book on the South Park, but I own a copy of the 1972 printing of The Switzerland Trail by Crossen, and it is a very good book. It covers the beginnings of mining in the area (Boulder County) through the end of the line in 1920. Very good read, lots of neat stories, photos, timetables, etc. Crossen does play up the romantism of the road a bit, but this makes for very interesting reading.
