Things get in my mind sometimes and I can't get rid of them until I know the answer.
Here is probably a dumb question but why, in the Antonito SG trackage does the siding south of the Train Station bow out before it goes back to the main line.
I've attached a picture, which I forgot to reduce in size, which I took on Sept. 14th. There is also a picture on Page 74 of Doris Osterwald's "Ticket to Toltec", which shows the same area when it was still Dual Gauge.
I hope there is sombody out there who can help me get this earth shaking question answered.
