In response to this question.. The answer is, Yes.
Shay #14 and the Baldwin #40 are currently servicable. They will be steamed up in 2006. Check out the Colorado Railroad Museum events calander for steam up dates.
Along with these two locomotives the G.L.R.R.,Inc. has three G.E. diesels. The #15, #130, and the #140. are serviceable and are used by the Museum, as needed. Shay #12 is considered servicable, but its rear coupling rings, sleeve shaft and the square shaft still need to be reassembled and set up before it can be run.
