well, even faster than a shay and a very successful design, actually experts say that this is one of the best designed and most modern ng steam locomotive still in daily service. After all other Chinese ng steam locomotive classes had been send out of service during the mid 80s, this class (C2) survives until now. But their future doesn´t look bright...
The picture shows a C2 at Weihe.
