Hi Greg,
Glad you were able to get the Garratt book. Now, when's the tape coming out?
Mike,
Dorman's books must be getting scarce. I searched on ABE and found four of his books, ranging from $77, $90 & $135, but "Chama/Cumbres with a little Chili" wasn't listed. "Durango, Always a Railroad Town" was, along with "Rio Grande Southern II", "Gunnison" and "Alamosa/Salida" The "Durango" looked like the best deal at $77 but pound for pound, "RGS II" at $90 might be. RGS II sold for $60 new, the others were in the $40 range.
You might try Karen's Books or Rails 'n Shafts. They both advertise in Trains and Railroad and Railfan. You might also call Mr. Dorman himself. He advertises in the Narrow Gauge Gazette and he had a number of his out of print titles for sale at the Narrow Gauge Convention in St. Louis. He might have Chama/Cumbres in stock, but probably not at the original price.
Good luck with your search
