The former highway crossing just outside of Durango (I still think of it as outside of Durango although that is now really incorrect)is a very frustrating location for me now, because I have a hard time placing the railroad location. The area has changed so much, that all the old landmarks and other evidence that a railroad once existed there simply has disappeared. I guess I probably figured it out when I was there, but don't think it was easy.
