Nice story--C&S crews who ran by our house in Denver treated me and my friends to rides in the caboose to the end of the line and back to S. Cook St., all behind steam, and that led me into all of this. Here are some more photos of the train that changed your life.

And the train has dropped the 487 and has just recently passed through Tanglefoot and is headed for home.

As I recall, there was no one else chasing this train that I was aware of--it was my own special freight. Great fun while it lasted.
