Taylor mentions the smooth ride of our SVRy 19 at speed and I got to wondering what speeds the K27s, K28s, K36s and K37s were capable of and what was normal on good straight downhill track. Our 19 was puportedly clocked at 45 in the old days, and has been taken up to 30-35 at least a couple times since restoration though in the instance I'm personally familiar with, I'll not mention any names or when this occured.
