Thanks for posting these great pictures Fritz. I agree with Mike on location. All of the suggested reasons sound good. In family movies of a train trip during the summer of 61, the siding is evident but not in recent use. Automobiles are are parked on and near the track. It was gone by '65. Your photo is the first I've ever seen of a railroad car parked on that track. It's wonderful to see new photos. The coal loading/lumber yard shot was a first for me also even though the location was famous in song and story. Thanks! Please, keep them coming!
