I kind of run lukewarm on this one. While I understand the necessity of saving money in the restoration and repair of our equipment, when the stuff is available from American suppliers I am not real excited about buying foreign stuff. Bottom line is that, at least in our case at Strasburg, the very talented people we have command AND DESERVE a decent wage and I guarantee that it's a heckuva lot higher than the Chinese are paying.
It concerns me that if enough business goes overseas, suppliers and steam shops in this country will give up the ghost. When the stuff from across the ponds dries up we end up with nothing.
Just a thought.
