Greg Maxwell apparently has a manuscript about 60% complete on my favorite narrow gauge, the E. & P. Would surely hope to see it finished and reach print. I was going to Nevada last fall before the gasoline spike to read the papers just to start finding our about the line and the N.C.
If anyone has followed both lines with my truck, the two are the most interesting narrow gauges in the far west. Unfortunately they are not "sexy" with limiteds, K-36's and rotaries. Battle Mountain and Lewis, Austin Ctiy Railway and Ruby Hill RR. were most interesting feeders.
