Re: A question for the C&S experts

I was a little rushed earlier. Acording to Wagners "Colorado Road" two engines were painted with the round herald, no's 323 and 372. Then between Nov. and Dec. '28 three engines were painted with the rectangular "Burlington Route" and Colorado & Southern spelled out on the flange of the tender. Eng. no's 329, 375, & 901. In Dec. '28 the "Colorado & Southern" was dropped from the flange leaving just the rectangular "Burlington Route". The Burlington adopted this style in 1925.
