Lets Blame The Magazine (BS)

I haven't seen the article but I am told the railroad has a add some where in the article. Are you telling us the railroad bought a add for a issue that features the C&TSRR and had no idea when the article would run?????
Advertising for the event was in the RFP that was chosen for the contractor to handle the lodgers tax funds. This was back in May or June.
What it really sounds like is the same problem that keeps rearing its head A LACK OF COMMUNICATION.
Your post sounds like you are trying to blame the magazine. How could it be the magazines fault that the railroad is not going to do what they advertised????? If they had checked the web site even just a few weeks ago they would of know the Christmas train was going to happen.
