There was a plan in the making by some of the Friends, but my guess is the current state of railroad "management" (or lack thereof) makes it highly unlikely anything will happen. If I remember correctly the DRGW arrived at the east or south side of the river in December, and crossed the river into Chama proper sometime thereafter. At this point, achieving some confidence that the C&TS will survive seems far more important than marking any kind of historical event.
