I think you have been extremely generous in allowing your reservation system to be utilized by the RGRPC, and now your offer to the commission as well. Hopefully they will see the value in retaining this as a seamless transition would be in the best interests of everyone.
It would seem to me though that some form of compensation would be in order for you. Perhaps if the commission wanted to get a little early season publicity they could wave the normal charter fee for you to create something special next year. My crystal ball says that a lot of white stuff will have to removed in the spring and perhaps you could orchestrate a little snow removal trip? If not then, I am sure you have some other nifty ideas that would create some marketing "buzz" and get people excited to visit next year.
History sells and the C&TS has a lot of history to offer, hopefully your expertise can be utilized to leverage this asset.
