Commission Meeting
This is what Barbara and I think are the highlights of todays meeting.
There is going to be a train
Chama Shop goes back to work Next week
Possible money for Antonito crews to get to work on the cars in the near future
New reservation system needed: can't or won't use Mr. Crafts. My understanding it was can't but I could be wrong
Schedule announcement likely at the Nov. 18, 2005 meeting
Advance reservations soon after the schedule is announced
Marketing program and what needs to be done decided before Jan.1, 2006. A plan in effect so as soon as the money becomes available it is ready to start.
Looks like a very good chance Colorado will have some money for the railroad in 2006. Colorado has put in something over 800,000.00 in the last couple of years. Possible emergency money from Colorado to get the crews back to work in Antonito.
Insurance problem has been worked out.
The commission has received 2 unsolicited offers to run the railroad.

As expected a very large crowd at todays meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for November 18, 2005 in Chama New Mexico.
