OR&L #85 currently resides behind the engine house on the LK&P on Maui. The drivers and frame are together, the cab is off and the tender was also taken apart for restoration. I last saw it in July of 05 in this state. The restorations was started by the former owners of the LK&P who ran two trains at a time on the line. The current owner / operator tends to only run one locomotive on the line at a time, thus future plans for the 85 are unclear.
