Excellent summation

The C&TS has many, many debilitating factors both in and out of the operation that cripple its ability to be a viable competitor to the D&S. The railroad needs to return to the old format of two trains. There should be some consideration to running a short train from Chama to Cumbres and back,though this would hurt the Osier concessionaire. It needs a massive rebuild of the track and roadbed (between Antonito and Sublette and from MP323 to Cumbres) so the trips can be shortened somewhat. The states need to make a massive investment in THEIR property or they should sell it to a private party that has the wherewithall to make the necessary capital improvements.
