It means 16mm FILM!!!! The original footage was shot on 16mm film, for the programs. Not sure which description is referred to but we use that description a lot, since 16mm is considered a better quality than say 8mm film.
Our "Rio Grande Steam in the 1960's" program for instance was shot on 16mm original films by Perry Becker. Thats the context that we are using for 16mm. We don't have anything to do with models, sorry, unless some of those Victoria's Secret ones happen to show up!!! <img class=" />
