Frank, the OR&L main line from the Kalihi stockyards junction in Honolulu to Pearl Harbor was in the last stages of being torn up in March of 1962 when I arrived on O'ahu as a guest of Uncle Sam's Canoe Club. Thus, #19 did not operate beyond Honolulu after the main line, except for the track from Pearl Harbor's West Loch through the Ewa district to the ammo dump at Lualualei, was removed. The trackage left in place was transferred to the Navy and is now partially (at least) in operation as a tourist/historical line by the Hawaiian Railway Society. It's the only track left of the OR&L.
To the best of my knowledge, #19 was always owned by the OR&L until the switching operation in Honolulu was teminated in 1972 and #15 and #19 sold to mainland interests.
Hope this is of interest to you.
