I have a history of Number 69 written by James J. Reisdorff published in 1984. When it was on the WP&Y, on the Black Hills Central, and in Nebraska, it appears to have the same tender, but with arch bar trucks. According to the history, it was converted to oil burning while on the WP&Y and given the cab from WP&Y 4-6-0 number 66. It came with the box headlight, but that was gone by the 20s. A picture in the book taken in the 50s looks very much like it is today except for the tender trucks.
