The last remaining portion of the Alamosa RH was razed in about 1998. I explored it in the summer of 1997. It's interesting because the hardware from the doors were saved and used at the new Roundhouse in Golden. Several other items were salvaged and used in the Golden roundhouse. I have some bricks that I found on the vacant lot where the roundhouse was while exploring the area in May of 2001. At that time, there were few clues of the Narrow Gauge facilities that were on the site at one time.
