Narrow Gauge Motel: Date of closing?

Among the interesting items in the Narrow Gauge History folder would be the Narrow Gauge motel. There are some great photos of it on photoswest.org website. As I recall, on one of my early trips to Alamosa, there were still a few NG boxcars around the building there. Does anyone have any comments on when the NG motel closed up?
