For the record I survived another major blood clot. This was lodged at the opening of the lungs and fortunately they were able to dissolve it with a clot buster(TNK I think). So now on thinners the rest of the journey. Maybe that will help at elevation, or not!!! Anyway I am just happy to be typing this.
Nice shot of the helper. This begs the question. Aside from the Craft charters of 1992, how many other trains have run from Antonito with midtrain helpers. Your train seen here was one. How many others? Must be less than 5? Earl might know if you don't! Am guessing David Rogers specials might have had one, and perhaps one Trowbridge train, although he tended to do single engines! Just the Antonito side, not the Chama-Cumbres side!
