The 25, a 2-8-0, is now on display just east of the Flagstaff depot along with a log car. It is lettered for Southwest Forest Industries. The 12 is lettered for Southwest Lumber Mills, Inc. Would that be considered the flying headress logo? The tender has a dog house which isn't apparent from the shot I posted. I thought it was interesting that the tender had spoked wheels.
The grade south of Flag is very visible in the aerial photos. One of these days I need to take a trip up and see what I can locate. I would have loved to have seen #12 run. As my dad always said, I was born to young.
