If accuate, this is bad news indeed. When I was there in Nov 2003, the passenger trains were well patronized, with 3 bus loads from our cruise ship going to ride the train. It's a wonderful ride with double decker cars. Lower level air conditioned & upper level open to view the scenery. Three long bridges on the line. Local musicians entertain & the rum flows liberaly.
