The passenger business in supposed to be losing money and there is not enough tourist business to keep the railroad running. Maybe I am reading bad data, as well, so I would welcome a correction of the data.
Ride the line if you are in the area, is my suggestion, but my two sisters were just there, and claimed they already had their time on the island programmed, and did not ride.
It is a very poor island from her report. I think they would have enjoyed the coastal train ride better than some bus ride looking at poverty.
